Freedom For All Americans Statement on Health and Human Services Rule Change Affecting LGBTQ Families And Adoption

November 1, 2019, 6:17 pm Today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Civil Rights announced that it will cease to enforce a federal rule that prevented federal grant recipients, including foster care and adoption agencies, from discriminating against otherwise-qualified prospective LGBTQ parents, at great harm to children waiting in state care for loving, forever homes.
